Welcome to the Briar

Welcome.

I’m a mother, a dreamer, and a grower of things both wild and intentional. Rooted in the heart of Woodbridge, CT, I created The Briar at 80 as a space where beauty, nature, and community come together.

What began as a love for flowers has grown into something larger, a commitment to cultivating seasonal, sustainable flowers that support not only our pollinators and soil, but also the people around us.

At The Briar at 80, community is at the center. From planting seeds with my children, to gathering friends for evenings of art, flowers, and wine, to sharing fresh bouquets with neighbors, I believe in creating meaningful experiences that reconnect us with the land and with each other.

This farm is about more than flowers—it’s about supporting local ecology, honoring the rhythms of nature, and building a place where connection blooms right alongside the dahlias and zinnias.
